DELAC Meeting: Tuesday, November 10
Audience: Assistant Principals, Parents, Principals, Staff, Students, Sys Admins, Teachers and Homepage
The District English Learner Advisory Committee will be meeting on Tuesday evening, November 10, 2009, at Westborough Middle School.  All parents are encouraged to attend, especially parents of students who have been designated EL's or English Learners.  Superintendent Dr. Howard Cohen, will be on hand to present the latest information on the ELD program, and how our district needs to move forward to promote proficiency for the EL population.  Assistant Superintendent Dr. Adolfo Melara, will also be on had to give specific information about the district ELD plan.  The meeting has translators for Spanish Speakers., and provides child care for younger siblings.
Dinner will be provided, beginning at 6:30.
 
Westborough welcomes all the ELL parents in the district to attend this meeting.
