Anti-Bullying Program

"Let's Get Real" Program

As part of a safe school campus Westborough promotes positive interactions between students—as highlighted by our Friendship Week in November—which ties in with the National “Mix it up at Lunch” Day sponsored by Teaching Tolerance. Bullying (Cyber-bullying) and relational harassment/aggression, racial, religious or gender orientation slurs are not acceptable here at Westborough.    We have developed an “Anti-Bullying” Contract which we distribute to teachers and students during Friendship week.

We have also developed a seminar program which meets approximately every six weeks. This program provides time for discussion and solutions for those who have been targets of bullying or those who have been bullies. Parents are required to attend with their children. Meetings are scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Anyone may attend with their children. Please contact the Assistant Principal’s Office for more information.
